Peace of mind on the road | Robofinity Thermal Night Vision

I love hopping on my motorcycle and just riding — it adds a little adventure to my everyday life. But after several night rides, I realized riding after dark wasn't as safe as I'd hoped. I live in Wisconsin, and deer are thick out here. I knew I needed something that could detect hidden dangers before I stumbled into them.

A regular dashcam didn't feel right for me — its detection range is limited, and animals hiding in tall grass or behind trees simply won't show up.Then I came across the Robofinity Car Thermal Night Vision online.Reading through its features, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Because it’s a thermal imaging camera combined with AI recognition and real-time alerts, that's the night vision solution I needed. Most people mount this unit on cars, but I noticed it has an extremely convenient power connection.So I didn’t hesitate at all and placed my order immediately.

I picked one up and mounted it on my 2016 Indian Roadmaster. Installation was refreshingly straightforward — no complicated steps, just routing and tidying up the wiring. I ran my wire harness to the left side of the bike, where I have a storage compartment that neatly swallowed up the excess cable. Because of that placement, my screen ended up flipped. Fortunately, the device features a HUD flip function, which completely solved the problem and didn't impact my usage at all.

 I couldn't wait to take it out for a test ride, and man, it did not disappoint!. It has already saved me from hitting deer twice. Even where my headlights can't reach, the thermal camera picks up animals hiding in grass or brush — I'll see a white flash on the screen before I ever see them with my eyes.The one quirk I noticed: electrical boxes occasionally trigger false pedestrian alerts, probably because they give off heat. Simple fix — I turned off the pedestrian AI alerts and kept only the animal detection on.

Now, I use it for my daily 30-mile motorcycle commute. Riding with the Robofinity Thermal Night Vision gives me a massive sense of security.

I am officially a huge fan of Robofinity! Love it and won't ride without it anymore.
