My Thermal Camera Saved Me From Elk & Hidden Dangers

A friend recommended my car thermal camera to me. I saw him using this thermal imaging device all the time, and it had saved him a lot of money. That really appealed to me, simply for safer driving and to avoid unnecessary trouble. After all, I commute by car often. I live in Washington State, where we frequently encounter elk on the road. I once had an accident with one, which cost me a great deal of money and wasted a lot of my time.

Fortunately, I discovered this little device in my friend’s car. He told me he hadn’t had any accidents since installing it, because it can detect hidden dangers ahead in time.  I bought it without hesitation. When it first arrived, I was worried about how to install it, so I contacted customer service. They replied quickly and explained everything patiently, which gave me even more confidence in using the device.

I remember something impressive happened about a month after I bought it. On my way to work, there was a small patch of woods ahead. I couldn’t see anything inside the bushes, but the thermal camera actually detected a cow hiding in them! An animal shape showed up on the screen. I was so surprised that I immediately recorded the moment and sent it to my friend.

Another time, on my way home, the mountain road was pitch black. I had to use my high beams to see farther. To make things worse, an oncoming car kept its high beams on without switching them. The glare left me unable to see the road ahead. I got through that short hundred-meter stretch only thanks to the thermal camera. Without it, I would have crashed into an elk that had just come out of the woods. It was a really close call!

These experiences have made me like the Robofinity InsightDrive even more. I’m so glad I have it. After all, repair costs are way higher than these few hundred dollars! And it gets me home safely, doesn’t it?
